"The Government and President Maithripala Sirisena are attempting to deceive the people. Our Party is of the view that this is a shameless attempt to help the pro-Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Diaspora. The Government is playing to the tune of certain international powers. The Government is indebted for the help extended to them in order for them to come into power. They are helping separatism and this will lead to a divided country. We vehemently oppose the proposed constitutional reforms," he added.
